:) Oh good, I'm not the only husband using the same line & logic to justify himself to his long suffering wife.  :)

I would like to say that there are certain times of the year that are light on collecting (finding stuff to buy) but so far I've yet to find one...

I walked into my local hobby store last night with my son while the wife was next door buying swim googles for our daughter and they were unpacking a portion of their new Safari figures so I was able to get the Vagaceratops and Dracorex! Let the eye-rolling spouse sequence commence...

I am pleased. And hoping that my wife doesn't follow through on her decision to kill me (I keep telling her these are investments)

I tell my b/f the same thing, but he always just looks skeptical..  :(

Yeah, my wife banned me to buy dinosaur when she found our room is surrounded by all dinosaurs. But she at least loves one of the herds. Right, Invicta Mamenchisaurus.

I got this awhile ago:

Unfortunately I was only brave enough to display it for about an hour before it was packed back up, I'm not taking any chances with these cats.  I've been looking into either buying or making a display case for it.
Maybe you know me now but it's strange somehow if I'm lost too

Today I got the Collecta Therizinosaurus and Dead Triceratops (fully deserving of a capital D for Dead). Review of the latter will follow tomorrow or Saturday.

Got some yowies in the mail today from DeJankins.

L-R: Mauisaurus, Kakuru, Ozraptor, New Zealand Mosasaur (Rikisaurus)

The dinosaurs are alright as far as yowies go, but the marine reptiles are fantastic. I'm quite fond of the orca-like colouring on the mosasaur.

That leaves about five to go and then I'll have every Mesozoic animal made by yowie. It's a bit exciting!

Using Jauce. It's very addictive though.

Be prepared to find out that the fees and postage will often cost 2 or 3 times what you buy.  Yeah, this stuff is often dirt-cheap in Japan, but by the time the fees and postage kick in - its often as if you paid exorbitant ebay prices - except that most of this stuff rarely even makes it to ebay.

JAUCE is like Jack Daniels to an "dino-holic" ...  ;)
