Views: 54 | Comments: 2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page Well, I learned a few things, including what a concretion was. I did buy into the heart thingy when it came out. Are there any models of this guy? I have/had a generic dollarstore chinasaurus that's labeled as Thescelosaurus somewhere... May 24, 2013, 07:38:41 PM by ShadowYaverlandia756

Confusing?Ithought so.I'll start so you can see what i mean: What would happen if a Ceratosaurus bought a computer? May 24, 2013, 03:27:06 AM by JustFalling
Views: 91 | Comments: 3 Hello all! After lurking for some time on your forum I've finally decided that its time to actively participate. I've been a professional artist for a year now working in the games industry. Increasingly though I've found myself trying to keep my entire portfolio from being invaded by dinosauria. Guess its time to give in and actually sculpt what I'm really interested in! I work mostly digitally but am working to find the space and time to start working in clay. I hope to work my way up from Shapeways models to full kits! Anyway, here are two relics from the past, about 2 years ago, before I actually knew anything concrete about dino anatomy. First we have Carnotaurus ![]() ![]() Then a Gastonia [img]http://i163.photobuc... May 23, 2013, 08:13:17 PM by tyrantqueen
Views: 141 | Comments: 6 Hi Does anyone know why Kaiyodo stopped making resin/vinyl kits in big scales? (as in the Dinoland series) Their gashapon dinos are beautiful and everything, but they're just so tiny ![]() I love these models, for me they are more accurate and better detailed than even Battat or Papo (IMO). It's a shame that they're so hard to get a hold of ![]() May 22, 2013, 05:16:22 PM by Nebuloid
Views: 88 | Comments: 0 Apparently Naturalis/Black Hills are still pulling bones out of the ground on their "T-rex expedtion 2013" : http://blog.naturalis.nl/?p=8384 http://www.naturalis.nl/en/museum/t-rex-expedition-2013/daily-t-rex-news/ It seems they found 3 skeletons, all of different size and age. A Dutch news site, couldn't find any English news on the topic : http://nos.nl/artikel/509566-naturalis-vindt-unieke-dino-in-vs.html So is this exciting, or old news ? Edit: I might have posted this in the wrong section, please move to dinosaur news if so inclined ! May 22, 2013, 12:52:14 AM by FUTABA
Views: 189 | Comments: 12 Finally stopped procrastinating long enough to join this forum. I've been a fan of the dino toy blog for well over a year now so it really is about time. I'm particularly interested in marine reptiles and parasaurolophus as well as anything to do with feathery theropods. My other main hobby apart from palaeontology is electronic music production. I try to link the two as much as I can and palaeontology is a major influence in my music. I've collected prehistoric animal figures since my early childhood but had a bit of a hiatus until about 18 months ago, and since then I've been getting more and more serious (as my bank balance clearly shows). I now have a good few hundred or so and no where near enough space in my unnervingly childlike bedroom to store them all. I also collect fossils, mainly plesiosaur bones (a few vertebrae, teeth, humeri, etc and the odd bit of phalanx and rib here and there). Also have a small but steadily growing simi... Views: 316 | Comments: 6 Hello! I've been lurking for a few months now and finally decided to make the jump and start actively participating! I'm a professional artist and 3d sculptor and have loved dinos since I was a little kid. I'm working towards combining the two, potentially as a career and thought you guys are going to have the best opinions! Looking forward to rooting around for all the info hidden here in the forums.
