Dr Adam Stuart Smith (aka ‘Plesiosauria’ on the blog and ‘Dinotoyblog’ on the forum)
Adam launched the Dinosaur Toy Blog in July 2007 and followed up with the Dinosaur Toy Forum in January 2008. He is interested in marine reptile figures, especially plesiosaurs. Adam also runs The Plesiosaur Directory website and has published several popular and technical papers on fossil marine reptiles.
Stefan Schröder (aka ‘Libraraptor’)
Hello! I´m Stefan Schröder. I´m 34 years old and live in Germany. I´m a social worker, married and from March 2012 on I´ll be father of two children!
My serious passion for dinosaur figures began somewhere in the early 1990s when I saw Invicta Diplodocus at a bookstore. Still I most love monochrome plastic dinosaurs, such as the Invictas, classic Marx or the Kleinwelkas. But I also see the beauty in other dinosaur figures. I don´t have favourite brands or species, I´m more the emotional collector who loves the history, overall look and feel of a figure. So I own a big variety of brands and species, and quite many (over 1000 pieces). I hope you enjoy my contributions to the blog and like the reviewed prehistroic animals as much as I do.

My name is Adam Frugé. I go by itstwentybelow on the forums. I have been fascinated by paleontology since I was three years old and have visited numerous fossil sites across North America, including Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada and Dinosaur National Monument in Utah, USA. I have displayed part of my collection in a state fair. In addition to dinosaur figures I also collect fossils. I currently live in Pullman, Washington where I am studying Anthropology at Washington State University, with special interest in human evolution and archaeology.
Alex Fortes (aka “ÇórÐÿlû§ TrøþÏÐÔ§tèrÑüm™”)
Cordylus is mostly interested in theropod dinosaur figures (although all dinosaur figures will do), along with shark figures. He likes to review well-known prehistoric animals as opposed to more obscure ones. He also likes to make dioramas with his figures; he even arranged the First Official DTF Diorama contest. Along with dioramas, he very much enjoys drawing several species of dinosaurs. His forum name came from the scientific name of one of his pet lizards, Java, who is a forest armadillo lizard Cordylus Tropidosternum.
Bokisaurus
My forum name is Bokisaurus or “Boki” for short. My real name is Ashley. I started collecting dinosaur figures 13 years ago. When I started, I collected only figures from my favorite groups of dinosaurs: sauropods, ceratopsians, and duckbills. It’s only within the last 8 years that I started adding figures from all the different groups. Besides collecting dinosaur toy figures, my other passion in life is Art and the outdoors. I take every opportunity I have to go out to the coast or the forest, taking some dino figures with me to make dioramas as an added bonus! I live in Seattle, Washington where it’s always sunny

Chris DiPiazza (aka Griffin8891)
Chris has worked with exotic animals for seven years now and has been a wildlife exhibitor, bringing live animals to camps and schools to educate children, for almost four years. In addition to living animals, he has an equally, if not stronger affinity for prehistoric ones as well. He also loves drawing, sculpting and painting and has recently illustrated a series of illustrations of dinosaurs to be used in lecture slides at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ (which can be found under his thread in the art section of the forums). As far as dinosaur models go, he does not consider himself a true collector, but one who buys only what truly interests him. He loves all species of dinosaurs and other manner of prehistoric creatures but ultimately, he considers the Ceratopsians his favorites.
Marc Vincent (aka ‘Horridus’)
My name’s Marc Vincent although I go by ‘Horridus’ on the forums. As a journalism student at a lesser university in the UK my interests include current affairs, dinosaurs (naturally!) and drinking myself to an early grave. Being a shameless populist my favourite extinct dinosaur is Tyrannosaurus; out of those extant it is surely the European magpie, Pica pica. I collect figures in a vain attempt to fill the awful, aching void in my soul and also because, you know, they’re cool to look at, and I find extinct animals fascinating – dinosaurs in particular

My name is Andrew, and I’ve been hooked with dinosaurs ever since I watched Jurassic Park on television at age 3. I started collecting dinosaurs at around age 4, when I got several Jurassic Park toys as well as a few others. However, I stopped collecting for a few years and have recently started getting back into it. While I love all types of dinosaurs, my favorite group is the sauropods. My other interests include drawing, skiing, hockey, and most of all, fishkeeping.

Hi Marc! Thaks for you comment.The truth is that before were strange feathered dinosaurs,but now i like anymore.Oviraptor,Velociraptor,Caudipteryx and Microraptor are fantastic feathered.I hope it does soon Guanlong.Sorry for my english,is very basic
Jose: I too would love to see a feathered Velociraptor from Carnegie, especially since the only feathered dromaeosaur to date – Microraptor – turned out really well.
Soy aficionado a la paleontologia y me fascinan los dinosaurios.Las figuras que más me gustan son,en general,las de Carnegie,por relación calidad/precio (excelente),y porque están basadas en criterios paleontológicos.Giganotosaurus,Spinosaurus y Carnotaurus 2011 me parecen insuperables.Me gustaría que actualizaran el velocirraptor(al estilo del de Bullyland) y que volvieran a reeditar el psittacosaurus (muy superior al de Collecta).Echo en falta algún paquicefalosaurio y algún ornitomimosaurio, pues no hay ninguno en la colección.Y ya de paso a ver si se animan y sacan el Kosmoceratops.Un saludo.
Acabo de ver la figura revelada de dansdinosaurs.com del Ankylosaurus de Papo y parece ser a mi honesto entender (vosotros sabréis más) una mejora en cuanto a los ankylosaurus de juguete es para mí un gran avance ya que aparece con la cola erguida y actitud desafiante. Lo que veo que es negativo que parece ser por el precio demasiado pequeño y ya sabéis que según las estimaciones de los paleontólogos el Ankylosaurus medía sobre 10 metros de largo.
También deseo pedir disculpas por mi visión precipitada de los dinosaurios de Bullyland nuevos para el 2011 el Dilophosaurus no es un animal de colección, está pensado para niños y es una inexactitud absoluta toda su figura, lo cierto y eso se que disiento, que los ojos no los han hecho tanto en este animal como en Dimetrodon con la mirada perdida como anteriores figuras, sin embargo me parece una figura que recuerda más a los dragones que a los dinosaurios y eso que soy un seguidor desde sus comienzos de los dinosaurios de Bullyland. No me hago del foro de dinosaurio de juguete porque para que voy a engañaros no me gusta que terceros sepan mi dirección de email, espero que sepáis comprenderme. Mis mejores deseos para año nuevo.
Aunque no soy miembro del grupo parece que ya se sabe a día de hoy 04 de enero de 2011 las novedades de Bullyland un Dilophosaurus (brazos y cabeza articulado) y un Dimetrodon (con la boca articulada) que dan mil vueltas en cuanto a calidad a las anteriores recreaciones de Bullyland.
Aparte de esto ya se sabe aunque no se ha publicado en ninguna página o foro de Internet el Ankylosaurus de Papo que conociendo a la empresa espero que sea fabuloso.

Yo soy un simple, pero eso sí entusiata (yo creo de los pocos y , en definitiva una “rara avis”) de las réplicas de dinosaurios y animales prehistóricos en España. Yo llevo coleccionando estas figuras desde hace veinte años, aunque no todas, y por desgracia tengo que afirmar que la fábrica de Safari, para mí una de las mejores, por no decir la mejor no tiene mucho predicamento en nuestro país, y ahora no se traen muchos productos en este lugar. Sigo todos los días vuestras críticas sobre figuras de juguete de dinosaurios y animales prehistóricos y puedo afirmar que están casi siempre acertadas.
Soy un coleccionista como ya he dicho no sólo de figuras de animales prehistóricos y por lo tanto de dinosaurios, sino también de fósiles reales (eso sí, nunca los he comprado de contrabando) y de libros (siempre en español) reconozco que en el idioma inglés los libros son más completos, por ejemplo mi ilusión sería que se hiciese una versión en Español de la Enciclopedia Glue, sobre dinosaurios que me fascina. Mi inglés es bastante torpe.
Mi afición a los dinosaurios, llega casi a la completa adicción, hasta tal extremo que me paso (y no miento)las horas del día (salvo en la hora de trabajo, pase lo que pase) pensando en los dinosaurios. Mi completa fascinación y “enganche” hacia estos animales fué cuando ví con cuatro años, la película de Walt Disney “Fantasía”. Desde entonces, busco todo lo referente a la vida prehistórica, sobre todo de animales fósiles vertebrados.
Trabajo como administrativo en Madrid, en España. Y siempre me encontraréis en dinotoyblog. com.
Además siento un amor hacia los animales actuales. Reconozco que desgraciadamente tanto los animales extinguidos como los actuales han sido y son mejores que nosotros los humanos.
Tengo toda la colección para que os hagáis a la idea de Collecta (incluido árboles y crías de dinosaurios)
De Safari todo (menos la serie Wild Safari de los años 2008 y 2009,(algunas réplicas tengo) y todas las del 2010, el Oviraptor del año 2005 (desclasificado), como el Protoceratops y Allosaurus (iniciales), amén de la paloma extinta de Madagascar, el Dodo;
De la casa Bullyland tengo todo menos el Anklylosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Giganotosaurus e Iguanodon.
De la casa Papo tengo la colección de animales prehistóricos (incluido el pájaro Dodo) completa.
Y toda la colección de Schleich inclusives las series de minidinosaurios y mamíferos prehístoricos.
La Colección Invicta también la tengo completa, y el Gallimimus de la colección Parque Jurásico, y casi toda la colección de dinosaurios de la serie AAA, excepto el Tyranosaurus, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus y Apatosaurus.
Además soy un coleccionista de DVDs de dinosaurios y otras criaturas prehistóricas tanto científicos, como de entretenimiento (Caminando entre dinosaurios y Caminando entre las bestias por ejemplo), y tengo una pequeña parte de la colección 11 figuras de resina de dinosaurios.
Como podéis ver soy un apasionado de estos animales, que dicho sea de paso han provocado que renunciase a casi todo.
Me gustaría que se liberasen las figuras de dinosaurios de Collecta, amén de las otras tres colecciones, a ver si es verdad que ha llegado el carnívoro conquense descubierto en este año 2010 en España, que es como sabéis el Concavenator.
Soy una persona que le encantan temas de coleccionismo y deseo que esta asociación del foro del dinosaurio de juguete se amplíe.
Puedo decir que cuando vengo después del trabajo, a la hora que sea, me meto exclusivamente en Internet para ver réplicas de dinosaurios y para enterarme de las novedades más recientes en paleontología. Sin más me despido.

Firstly, congratulations! I use to check your site monthly, because I´m a collector of animal figures (not only dinos) since the 90´s (I used to be a collector still in end of the 70´s, but all my collection from that period was unfortunatelly lost in the middle of the 80´s).
Now an urgent ask of help:
Anyone knows about the sculptor Malcolm Mlodoch (as far as I know, Dinonikes)?
Me and Malcolm had some e-mail conversation until last may, day 12, but since then I have no news from him.
I have sent sent him some e-mails the last 2 months, but as I haven´t heared agin from him at all, now I believe that maybe these haven´t reached his e-mail recipient or are lost for some unknown reazon.
You know guys? I´m looking for Malcolm because I have one of his Indricotheriums already ordered to be delivered by next august day 2, but stil not received.
Maybe he is working out of town, with new expositions, or maybe simply very busy, but I´m affraid that maybe he hasn´t simply received my last messages. I´m asking your help because I couldn´t find his website anymore.
I´m in Brazil, but me and Malcolm combined that the Indrico will be sent to a friend of mine in NY, who will be taking me the statue herself from next 02/august.
